I’m Blythe, a twenty-something-year-old business graduate who works in retail. For awhile, I believed that upon graduating, I would find myself that perfect corporate job and work my way up the ladder. However, I realized sometime during my years of study that my passions lied elsewhere. I learned that there were so many ventures I wanted to partake in, all of which would allow me to be creative and express myself in the forms I enjoy the most. Writing being one of them. Hence, the making of this blog. I began with the aim of helping others who have been in my very shoes and found themselves struggling to navigate their transition into adulthood. I wouldn’t say I’ve excelled much in that area though. I’m still learning every single day. I believe that’s the nature of your twenties. Learning on-the-go. Regardless, I thought to myself, “Why not document these experiences as a learning lesson for others who may benefit from the awkward, slightly embarrassing, definitely uncomfortable journey that is my current state of life?” Plus, what better way to embrace the way of the Gen Z than to record them digitally? (That question was rhetorical. There’s obviously no better way.) With that said, you can rest assured that I will be here to share with you all things Blythe from the mundane to the extraordinary.
Together, we will trek through topics on self-care, mental health, relationships, and so much more that is relevant to this chapter in our lives. Look forward to college tips and tricks from someone who has been through it all. You will witness firsthand the complexities of being in your twenties; the paradox of adulthood that is both beautiful and ugly. Join me as I make my way from this chapter to the next.
